It's time for Christmas bashing. I would love to ask these people: Does it scare you? If so, how? How does it offend your beliefs? Do you think this nation which compromises of 95% of the people participating in Christmas, should not have their children participate in a celebration that was happening since this country was founded, because you are offended? I am offended that you are offended. If I lived in a country where I was strongly opposed to the culture, I would leave. Are you trying to change the country because you want the economic benefits but not the culture? If so, you cannot have America without it's culture unless pc driven politicians are flying on the eagle.
If our government and school boards are going to cater to the trend of "winter break" and not saying "merry Christmas" because it will offend someone, somewhere, we have lost American principality. Where democracy is led by a majority, is now being run by a bunch of weak - minded, secular, bland, no substance, scared, twisted and spineless pc servants. I am scared, how about you?
Here is part of the article from frontpagemag.com I am commenting on:
To some, Christmas is a threat right up there with global warming. Retail giant Wal-Mart told employees to quit telling shoppers, "merry Christmas" - until a backlash erupted among angry patrons.
The people have spoken. A poll by Zogby International found that a nearly unanimous 95 percent of Americans were not offended by hearing "Merry Christmas" sung to them in stores. And, get this - 32 percent said they were offended by "happy holidays."
One who takes offense at this PC madness is New York's own Jewish mascot, Jackie Mason.
"All the yentas and the lawyers and the ACLU and the maniacs decided that Christmas was a danger!" Jackie complained to me."We should thank God there's a holiday that promotes love among people," Jackie said. "Even lowlifes feel guilty for doing anything wrong during this season!"
Still, it won't end. In Maplewood, N.J., parents saw red - and green - after the district banned religious music last year from school holiday concerts. "Silent Night" was not all right. "Dreidel Dreidel" was dead on arrival. So a parent sued in federal court. "We loosened the policy ever so slightly," school-board President Rowland Bennett told me. "Now, if you want to have a Christmas song or a Hanukkah song in December, in a concert, it's acceptable. You just can't load up your program with that."
The lawsuit proceeds.
The stupidest ban came in Plano, Texas, where, a federal suit alleges, schoolchildren were told not to bring red and green napkins to a winter party. The schools' lawyer finally claimed that children were asked to bring in white napkins because that's the color of snow. In Texas.
Santa. Baby! I'm afraid. I don't want my kid growing up in a world that's politically correct and morally vacant. I want you back.

Islamic Extremism vs. Divided United States
If the current trends continues in America today, Islamic Fascism will eventually spill into American society on a more continual basis. There are too many U.S. bashing views throughout the universities, mainstream media, etc., which could eventually turn into policies for terrorists to take advantage of our democratic way of life. Obviously, the consequences would be devastating.
Liberals and others do not see the BIG picture. Relying on how the world should be but not how the world really is. This is a very costly mistake. The continual, relentless bashing of President Bush because of the war in Iraq is a front runner. Instead of supporting the President, the left wingers conspire to the assumption of their own personal belief, not fact. In turn, fuel the fire of the enemy. Hence America starts tearing itself from within. Without America there wouldn't be freedom of speech to rip this country apart. The most important thing is preserving what the forefathers have created.
Sacrifices have to be made for a great country to survive. War is never easy. Decisions are hard and mistakes can be made. With constant bashing from U.S. citizens comes a weakening country. Freedom of speech is important, so are checks and balances but in a time of war the country must unite to protect itself. Otherwise we are opening our ports, cities and backyards for the enemy to sneak in. Then there will not be a United States of America or freedom of speech. Who would you be able to bash then?

Political Correctness and Islamic Extremists?

Hundreds of churches have been destroyed by Muslims but I have not heard a thing from the mainstream media about them. Having to read a story of a mosque that was dozed over because the enemy was using it as cover while firing upon the Israelis I pondered and thought, how about all the churches that were destroyed just because Christians, the enemies, worshipped there. How about all the Muslims who murder Christians quite frequently just because of their beliefs. Yet we sit here and have to read about Muslims who want to kill all of us and use their own mosque as a shield?
The Pope actually stooped to the political correct world we live in today and faced toward Mecca as he prayed in the mosque on his trip in Turkey. The Pope quoted from the Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus "Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." Protests erupt and guess what Christians are murdered, but wait a minute....Islam isn't a violent religion? I have not heard one Muslim come out and denounce any terrorists attacks on Jews or Christians. Yet we have the Pope who quoted someone from the 14th century and has to travel around the middle east and kiss Muslim ass, as all of us should, according to political correctness and Islamic Extremists?
Political correctness and Islamic Extremists together? Yes, unfortunately that's what's happening today. When did things start becoming so twisted?
